Privacy Policy

What we collect

If you create an account we store your email address, a salted hash of your password (never the password itself), the games you follow, and when you signed in. If you subscribe to The Daily Combo we store your email address and whether you have confirmed and unsubscribed.

Without an account we keep your followed games and the time of your last visit in cookies on your own device. Our servers keep ordinary request logs (such as IP address and pages requested) for security and troubleshooting.

How we use it

To run your account and My Combo, to send the emails you ask for (confirmations, password resets and, if you opted in, The Daily Combo), and to keep the site secure. We don’t sell your information and we don’t show ad-tech trackers.

Email

We send email through a delivery provider (Resend), which receives your address and the message so it can deliver it. Every Daily Combo email has a one-click unsubscribe link. Account emails (like password resets) are sent only when you or someone using your address asks for them.

Cookies

We use a sign-in cookie for accounts, and cookies that remember followed games and your last visit. They are first-party and needed for those features. Clearing them signs you out or resets My Combo on that browser.

Your choices

You can change your password, turn the newsletter on or off, or delete your account and followed games at any time from your account page. Deleting your account removes your email address, password hash, follows and newsletter subscription from our database.

Retention and security

We keep account data until you delete the account. Backups age out on a schedule. We protect data with encrypted connections, hashed passwords and limits on repeated sign-in attempts, but no system is perfectly secure.

Children

Brutal Combo isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy and will change the date below when we do. To ask about your data, reply to any email from us.
