The short version

  1. One Piece is coming to Fortnite, and Epic Games has confirmed it.
  2. The collab is part of the next Fortnite season.
  3. A teaser trailer dropped alongside the confirmation.

One Piece is officially coming to Fortnite. Epic Games has confirmed the collaboration will be part of the game's next season.

The announcement arrived with a new teaser trailer, which is about as clear a confirmation as you can get.

Polygon called it one of the most highly anticipated collabs, and it's easy to see why. Fortnite has spent years pulling in big anime and pop culture names, and One Piece is about as big as anime gets.

What we don't have yet is the fun part. Epic Games hasn't said which characters are getting skins, whether there will be One Piece items or map changes, or how the collab fits into the season's battle pass or item shop.

Epic also hasn't given a date for when the next season starts, so there's no exact timeline for when you'll be able to suit up as a pirate.

For now, the teaser is the only thing out there. Expect more details as the new season gets closer.

What we don’t know yet

  • Which One Piece characters are coming to Fortnite hasn't been announced.
  • Epic Games hasn't shared a start date for the next season.
  • It's not known whether the collab includes items, map changes or only cosmetics.
  • Epic hasn't said whether the content will be in the battle pass or item shop.
