The short version

  1. Look Outside launches on consoles on October 30.
  2. It's coming to PS5, PS4, Switch 2 and Switch all at once.
  3. The game first came out on PC last year.

Look Outside is coming to consoles on October 30. The survival horror RPG launches on PS5, PS4, Switch 2 and Switch that day.

Devolver Digital is publishing, and the game comes from developer Francis Coulombe. It's a pixel art survival horror RPG, a genre mix that doesn't show up nearly as often as it should.

If you're a PC player, you may already know it. Look Outside debuted on PC last year, so this release brings it to PlayStation and Nintendo hardware for the first time.

Covering four consoles at once is a wide net. PS4 and Switch owners aren't being left behind, and anyone who's already moved up to PS5 or Switch 2 gets a version on day one too.

Xbox isn't part of this announcement. Devolver hasn't said whether an Xbox version is planned.

There's also no word yet on console pricing, or whether the console versions add anything beyond what shipped on PC. Devolver hasn't shared those details.

The wait is short either way. Look Outside arrives on October 30.

What we don’t know yet

  • Console pricing hasn't been announced.
  • Devolver hasn't said whether an Xbox version is planned.
  • It's unclear whether the console versions include any changes or extra content compared to PC.
