Sponsorship and advertising
Reach players. Not in their way.
Brutal Combo is gaming news for people who play: what happened, why it matters, and the sources to prove it. If you make games, hardware or anything players care about, we’d like to hear from you.
We’re a young site, so we keep things simple: a handful of clearly labeled placements, sold directly, with terms we work out together. Tell us what you’re launching and we’ll suggest what fits.
Ways to work with us
The Daily Combo
One sponsor slot in our daily email: the day’s biggest stories in one quick read, sent only to readers who confirmed they want it.
Site sponsorship
A presenting-sponsor placement across Brutal Combo for a week or a month, with your brand alongside the news, never inside it.
Section sponsorship
Own a corner of the site that fits your launch: the release calendar, the trending page, or the hub for a particular game.
Something else
Have an idea that doesn’t fit a box? Tell us. If it works for readers, we’ll work out the details with you.
The ground rules
Readers trust us because they can see where every story comes from. Sponsorship works the same way. See our editorial standards.
Coverage isn’t for sale
Sponsors don’t choose, preview or change our stories. If your game makes news, we cover it like anyone else’s, good or bad.
Paid means labeled
Every paid placement says “Sponsored” where readers can see it. We don’t run ads dressed up as news, or paid reviews.
No trackers
Placements are sold directly, not through ad networks. We don’t add tracking pixels or sell reader data, as our privacy policy promises.
We can say no
We review every placement before it runs, and we turn down anything that would mislead readers or doesn’t belong on a gaming site.
Get in touch
Tell us a little about you and what you have in mind. It goes straight to the editor, who replies by email.
