The short version

  1. MP1st reports the Silent Hill remake is targeting a 2027 release.
  2. The game's codename is reportedly Project Noise.
  3. Gabrielle Fritz and Jade Matthew are reportedly attached, but Harry's actor hasn't been named.

Bloober Team's remake of the original Silent Hill is targeting a 2027 release, according to a report from MP1st. None of this is confirmed by Konami or Bloober Team, so treat it as a leak for now.

Per MP1st, the project carries the codename Project Noise. The report also says work on the remake has been underway since 2022.

That 2027 window comes with a big caveat. The report frames it as the current target, assuming there are no delays or changes to Konami's production schedule.

The more fun detail is casting. MP1st says it received confirmation of the first two actors attached to the game: Gabrielle Fritz and Jade Matthew.

The report doesn't say who they're playing, and the role of Harry hasn't been confirmed. If you were hoping to find out who's taking the lead role, keep waiting.

The game in question is the 1999 PS1 horror classic, which Bloober Team is remaking. Neither Konami nor Bloober Team has commented on the report.

What we don’t know yet

  • Konami and Bloober Team haven't confirmed the 2027 target or the Project Noise codename.
  • The roles Gabrielle Fritz and Jade Matthew would play haven't been reported.
  • Who will play Harry hasn't been confirmed.
  • Platforms for the remake haven't been detailed.
