The short version

  1. Petit Planet launches December 4.
  2. It's coming to PC via the Epic Games Store, with other platforms not fully detailed yet.
  3. HoYoVerse dropped a new trailer and YouTube Shorts alongside the date.

Petit Planet finally has a launch date. HoYoVerse's cosmic life simulation game arrives December 4.

Gematsu reports the game is launching on PC via the Epic Games Store. The full platform list wasn't spelled out in the announcement details shared so far, so if you're hoping for console versions, keep an eye out.

HoYoVerse confirmed the December 2026 window itself and used the moment to share a new trailer, plus a handful of YouTube Shorts.

That's a pretty short runway. December 4 is just over a month away, which means anyone who's been curious about a HoYoVerse game that trades combat gacha energy for a little planet to look after won't be waiting long.

"Cosmic life simulation" is about as much as the announcement gives on the genre front. HoYoVerse hasn't detailed pricing, preorders or launch content alongside the date.

The new trailer and Shorts are out now on HoYoVerse's channels if you want a look before launch.

What we don’t know yet

  • Whether Petit Planet will launch on platforms other than PC at release.
  • Petit Planet's price and business model haven't been shared.
  • HoYoVerse hasn't said whether preorders or pre-registration rewards are planned.
