The short version

  1. Phantom Blade Zero goes live at 10AM Beijing Time on October 29 on PS5 and PC.
  2. In the US that means 7PM PDT or 10PM EDT on October 28.
  3. Pre-loading is open now, and a PS5 physical edition is coming in 2027.

Phantom Blade Zero is almost here. S-Game's action game launches worldwide at the same moment, 10AM Beijing Time on October 29, on PS5 and on PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store.

Because it's a simultaneous global release, a lot of you get it a day early. Here's when it unlocks where you are:

US Pacific: 7PM PDT on October 28. US Eastern: 10PM EDT on October 28. UK: 2AM GMT on October 29. Europe: 3AM CET on October 29.

Further east, it's 1PM AEDT on October 29 in Eastern Australia and 3PM NZDT on October 29 in New Zealand.

Pre-loading opened at 10AM Beijing Time on October 27, or 7PM PT on October 26, so if you want to start the second it goes live, get that download going now.

The pitch, in S-Game's words, is that the game "brings the speed and spectacle of kungfu cinema to life in an epic journey through the world of Kungfupunk." You play as Soul, who has just 66 days to live, and you'll explore the Wulin to uncover a conspiracy swallowing the martial world. The main story also has different paths to explore.

If you were planning to buy a disc, hold off. S-Game says the PS5 physical edition arrives in 2027, and the studio closed its launch note with "See you in the Wulin!"

What we don’t know yet

  • S-Game hasn't given a specific date for the PS5 physical edition beyond 2027.
  • S-Game hasn't announced pricing or launch patch details in its release-time update.
