Probably Stolen sells 200,000 copies in its first few hours on Steam

Probably Stolen is off to a big start. The game launched on Steam on 28 October 2026, and its developer says it sold 200,000 copies in the first few hours.

That's a lot of people showing up on day one.

According to the developer's launch-day post, the game reached a peak of 86,000+ concurrent players, and it got there within 90 minutes of launch. It also climbed to #2 in Steam's Global Top Sellers.

There's a small wrinkle in the player numbers. A separate Steam stats post put the release-day peak at 74,389 concurrent players. Neither post explains the gap, so treat the developer's 86,000+ figure as its own count.

Early reception looks strong too. The developer says reviews were 95% positive, from 400+ reviews at the time it posted. That's a small sample on launch day, so the score could still move as more players weigh in.

The modding scene isn't waiting around either. There are already several dozen mods on the Steam Workshop, per the developer.

The studio thanked players who'd been around since the closed playtests, saying it is "eternally grateful for your playtest and demo feedback and helping us to shape up the game."

If you run into a bug or want to send feedback, the developer is asking players to report it on its Discord.

The game is also part of bundle deals on Steam with Graveyard Keeper 2, Potion Craft, Restory, Backpack Battles and TCG Card Shop Simulator.
