The short version

  1. Coaches DLC for Euro Truck Simulator 2 launches November 12th 2026.
  2. Three licensed coaches: Scania Touring, Volvo 9700 DD and MAN Lion's Coach.
  3. Smooth driving matters now, with a G-force indicator tracking passenger comfort.

Euro Truck Simulator 2 is getting passengers. The Coaches DLC now has a release date of November 12th 2026, announced on Steam alongside a new trailer.

The expansion adds three officially licensed coaches: the Scania Touring, the Volvo 9700 DD and the MAN Lion's Coach. Each one has its own driving feel, according to the announcement.

You can buy your own coach and tinker with it, too. Customization covers chassis configurations, engine choices, interior trims and accessories, so the tuning habit you built on trucks carries over.

The work itself changes. Instead of hauling trailers, you'll take passenger transport jobs and see the game's roads from a different seat.

That comes with a new set of rules. With people on board, the DLC asks you to take corners carefully and avoid harsh braking, and there's a G-force indicator to watch so your passengers stay comfortable.

You're also on the clock. The announcement describes balancing passenger satisfaction against keeping to a timetable while you navigate busy roads, maneuver through bus stations and pick up riders.

For a sim built around careful driving, a mode that actively scores how gently you handle a vehicle sounds like a natural fit. The trailer is up now if you want a look before launch.

What we don’t know yet

  • The price of the Coaches DLC hasn't been announced.
  • It hasn't been detailed how passenger satisfaction affects pay or progression.
  • It's not stated whether the DLC is coming to Euro Truck Simulator 2 on platforms beyond Steam.
