The short version

  1. The free access preview starts October 29 and runs for five days.
  2. All modes are playable during the preview, no purchase needed.
  3. Full launch is November 10, with paid early access before that.

Football Manager 27 is letting you play for free before it launches. A free access preview period goes live worldwide on October 29, and it opens up all modes without you having to buy the game.

The preview kicks off at 11am PDT, 1pm CDT, 2pm EDT, 6pm GMT and 7pm CET.

It lasts five days in total. If you want to get a proper save going, download it as soon as it unlocks on your platform of choice.

That's a generous window for a series where one season can swallow an entire weekend. Five days is enough to find out whether your favorite club's squad is worth rebuilding when the full game arrives.

The full launch lands worldwide on November 10. There's also a paid early access period before that date, though the details of when it starts and what it costs weren't spelled out in the countdown post.

According to the post, Sports Interactive announced the release date previously, and its author said they weren't expecting any changes this late.

What we don’t know yet

  • When the paid early access period begins and how it's priced hasn't been detailed.
  • Which platforms support the free access preview wasn't specified.
  • Whether preview progress carries over to the full game hasn't been confirmed.
