The short version
- Hyperspace Neptunia: Unlimited gets a western release in 2027.
- It's headed to PS5, PS4, Switch 2, Switch and PC.
- It's the first new mainline Neptunia game in over 10 years.
Hyperspace Neptunia: Unlimited is getting an English release in 2027. Idea Factory International will publish the Compile Heart-developed game in the west.
The platform list is wide. It's coming to PS5, PS4, Switch 2 and Switch, and Gematsu's report on the announcement adds PC to the lineup.
The bigger deal for longtime fans is what this game is. Hyperspace Neptunia: Unlimited is the first new mainline Neptunia game in over 10 years, which is a long gap for a series that's never exactly been shy about spinoffs.
So if you've been waiting for Neptune and friends to get a proper new main entry rather than another side adventure, this is the one to keep an eye on.
Don't circle anything on the calendar yet, though. The western release is pinned only to 2027, with no specific date or even a narrower window shared so far.
Idea Factory International also hasn't shared pricing or edition details with the announcement, so expect more on those as the release gets closer.
What we don’t know yet
- The exact 2027 release date hasn't been announced.
- Pricing and editions haven't been detailed.
- It isn't clear whether all platforms will launch on the same day.
